Derby from Opera is an amazing medium nap suede that has been extra stuffed with wax. The addition of wax to the suede makes it highly water resistant and gives it extra body and rigidity; similar to heavily waxed canvas, for which Derby is an excellent replacement.  Derby is fantastic for all different types of projects from shoes to bags. Â
Full skin (double butt cowhide) average size:Â 14-16 sqft
If the skin we have available to ship is falls below this size range, we will issue a partial refund for the difference in size. Â
Please note in order to split full skins of Opera Derby, the skin will have to be cut in half in order to fit our splitting machine.
